We Scored an A+ From the BBB. Here's Why We Care.

We spend a lot of time helping B2Bs and nonprofits build credibility, not just with prospective customers, donors, and partners, but with the AI systems increasingly shaping how people discover and evaluate businesses. That work often comes down to something simple: you do not get to just say you are trustworthy. Somebody else has to check.

That is why we are proud to share that Orange Marketing has earned an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau® (BBB), Mountain West & Pacific Southwest. For us, this is more than a badge for our website. It is an independent, third-party signal that supports the kind of transparency, accountability, and consistency we encourage our own clients to demonstrate.

BBB ratings are based on factors such as complaint history, time in business, transparency, and advertising practices. As a BBB Accredited Business, we have also committed to their Standards for Trust:

  • Build trust
  • Advertise honestly
  • Tell the truth
  • Be transparent
  • Honor promises
  • Be responsive
  • Safeguard privacy
  • Act with integrity

Those are not abstract values to us. They show up in how we communicate with clients, how we handle concerns, how we manage expectations, and how we follow through on the work we say we will do.

Why The BBB Credential Matters

We recently also earned a Platinum Pinnacle Award for AI-Powered Marketing Innovation, recognizing our work helping B2B brands improve their visibility in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.

We help B2B companies and nonprofits show up more clearly in an increasingly AI-shaped search environment. That means creating useful content, maintaining accurate business information, earning reputable third-party recognition, and giving people (and AI systems) real evidence to reference when they assess a brand.

We believe companies should apply those same standards to themselves.

Earning BBB accreditation and an A+ rating is one way we are doing that. It provides prospective clients with an independent source of information about our business, alongside the work, expertise, and results we share ourselves. It is not something we can create with a well-written case study or a polished website alone.

rebecca_blueAs our CEO, Rebecca Gonzalez, puts it:

“We ask our clients to be transparent with their customers and with the AI systems evaluating them. It only made sense to hold ourselves to the same standard, and to have an outside organization confirm we’re meeting it.”

What It Means for Clients

Clients trust us with work that can shape their reputation, growth, and relationships with the people they serve. For nonprofits, that often includes communications with donors, supporters, and communities. We believe they should be able to evaluate us using more than our own marketing claims. Our BBB accreditation gives them an independent source of information as they decide whether we are the right partner.

For nonprofit clients in particular, that may carry extra weight. Boards and donors rightly ask difficult questions about the vendors who support fundraising, outreach, and donor communications. Transparency, responsiveness, ethical advertising, and privacy practices are not simply nice-to-have principles in that context. They are part of what responsible partnership looks like.

kirill_blueOur Director of RevOps, Kirill Ougarov, sees the recognition as validation of the operational habits behind our client relationships:

“An A+ rating isn’t about a single campaign or client win. It’s about whether our day-to-day processes hold up: how clearly we bill, how quickly we respond when a client raises a concern, and how consistently we follow through on what we promised. That’s exactly what RevOps is built to protect, so seeing it validated externally matters to us.”

Practicing What We Preach

We are proud of the A+ rating, but we also see it as a reminder of the standard we intend to keep meeting. Trust is not a claim we make once. It is something we build through consistent actions, clear communication, responsible practices, and a willingness to be evaluated by people outside our own organization.

That is the same principle behind the work we do for clients navigating AI-powered discovery: credibility is stronger when it is visible, verifiable, and supported by sources beyond your own marketing.
