7 Power Moves for HubSpot’s Sales Workspace

Featured Image

If you’re trying to keep your sales team focused and productive, the latest updates to the Sales Workspace are worth a closer look. During a recent Admin HUG (HubSpot User Group) session, product managers gave a hands-on tour of what’s coming—and what’s already here—to help users better manage deals (and reps!), meetings, and day-to-day sales activity.

Brief background: HubSpot User Groups (HUGs) are free, online meetups where HubSpot users explore new features, connect with product experts, and learn from fellow power users. The HubSpot Admin HUG, hosted by one of our favorite HubSpot gurus, Kyle Jepson, is a weekly series specifically designed for anyone managing HubSpot behind the scenes.

7 Fresh Sales Workspace Tools

Apparently one of the most requested updates by uers is for more admin control over what sales reps see on deal records.

Now in public beta, super admins can customize the sidebar in the Sales Workspace to streamline what’s shown—removing unnecessary clutter and surfacing only the most relevant info. Reps still have the flexibility to reorder some fields, but the ability to set and lock defaults helps enforce consistent processes across teams.

The familiar drag-and-drop pipeline board is coming to the Sales Workspace! A new toggle will let reps switch between table and board views of their deals—right where they’re working.

This long-requested feature hits public beta in early July and should make it easier to visualize deal progress without jumping back to the CRM.

3. Saved Views + Admin Controls (Coming September)

Although there was no visual preview available, we are told that by September, admins and reps will be able to save customized views across all major sales objects—deals, leads, tasks, and target accounts. Admins can even lock these views to drive team-wide consistency. Think “instant focus mode” for your sellers, no clicks required.

4. Better Associations + Admin Feedback Loop (Research Underway)

Another extremely fresh development by HubSpot’s product team addresses some lingering frustrations with associations in deals (like being unable to see all related contacts). Improvements are in the works—and the HubSpot co-panel joining Kyle's in this HUG episode actively invited feedback during the session. If your current deal management setup feels clunky, now is a great time to share specifics with HubSpot's product team.

Sales reps get bombarded with tasks and signals. Guided Actions, now available in the Sales Workspace, aims to simplify prioritization. It surfaces relevant prompts—like “follow up with Ana before your meeting” or “reply to waiting emails”—and lets reps act on them instantly, from the same screen.

Admins can now customize these actions too, turning specific suggestions on or off and tweaking timing settings based on your sales cycle. Think: light automation that fits your flow.

A new private beta gives reps a centralized page to prep for meetings—with talking points, recent activity, and even AI-suggested insights based on past conversations. After the meeting, reps receive automatic summaries, transcripts, and extracted next steps.

The cherry on top? The HubSpot Meeting Notetaker bot can join Zoom, Meet, or Teams calls—even if the customer hosts the meeting—and populate notes into the CRM instantly. Very powerful intel and guidance.

HubSpot is also rolling out a new Daily Digest email to Sales Workspace users. It lands in their inbox each morning with a summary of meetings and tasks for the day, complete with quick links to jump into prep mode or task execution. Think of it as a personal sales assistant, nudging reps toward productivity before they even open their browser.
