Hello fellow HubSpot-ers! We are back this week to keep you in the loop with the latest HubSpot updates. There are some big changes on the horizon, as well as some key updates released last week. So, without further ado, let's see what's new!
Import Offline Event Data to HubSpot Marketing Events
You can now import all your marketing events data into HubSpot for offline (in-person) events.
This will allow you to bring all your marketing events data into HubSpot - selecting from a range of integration for your online (virtual) events and using our new import flow for offline (in-person) events.
Making HubSpot a centralized one-stop-shop for all your marketing event activities, including information about the event, and performance overview of registrants, and attendees etc, - with all your marketing events data inside of HubSpot, you can manage and automate your marketing events activities with a range of feature, such as lists, reports, and campaigns for this event.
Why does it matter?
Until now, Marketing events object in HubSpot could only be used for online (virtual) Marketing events activities, with an event integration, like Zoom, GoToWebinar, Eventbrite, to name but a few.
Now, Marketing events object in HubSpot can be used for offline (in-person) Marketing events activities, with our new imports flow.
This means that customers can now bring ALL their Marketing events data into HubSpot, and use the power of HubSpot Marketing events to manage and automate their event activities.
There is a lot to this update; you can read more about it here.
All-New Help Desk Workspace
Help Desk is HubSpot's new ticket management workspace (AKA HubSpot Services), purpose-built for your support team to provide efficient and empathetic customer service.
Help Desk consolidates tickets and conversations in a centralized workspace, allowing your support team to intake, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve customer requests much more efficiently. With omnichannel messaging, a 360-degree customer view powered by the CRM, and a growing list of AI-backed features, Help Desk contains all the tools your team needs to provide world-class service, at scale.
It is worth noting, however, that users must be a Super Admin or have a Service Seat to access and use Help Desk.
AI Forecasting
HubSpot's new AI-powered forecast uses in-month sales data to project future sales, getting your team closer to a spot-on forecast.
Customers need accurate forecasting to manage their businesses effectively. But predicting the future is difficult, so sales teams are often inaccurate in their estimates. AI can improve customers' forecast accuracy by over 95% for some teams.
To help customers calibrate an accurate forecast, we're using predictive AI technology to project future sales based on existing closed-won deal data. With a "most likely," "upper," and "lower" range, AI projection is yet another perspective customers can use to calibrate an accurate forecast.
Customers can also review the historical accuracy of the AI projections in the Forecast Accuracy Over Time table to decide how strongly to weigh the AI projections against other perspectives like manual forecast submissions.
Refreshed Navigation Menu and Sidebar - Coming Soon!
The job of the navigation is to help you do your job more efficiently. And with this refresh, they've tried to make it easy for you to find what you're looking for and help you efficiently execute common or frequent tasks and workflows.
After joining the Beta, users can enable the refreshed navigation at any time by clicking on “Try the refreshed navigation” in the global toolbar.
If for any reason you need to switch back to the original navigation, no problem – you can do that at any time!
