Another week, another round of smart upgrades from HubSpot. This batch is especially handy if you manage email marketing, video content, contact lists, or team training.

For the week ending May 16, 2025, here are four powerful Improvements worth your attention:

  • AI Email Template Import,
  • YouTube Publishing and Reporting Now Available for Pro,
  • Convert Static List to Active Lists, and
  • Certification Tracking Made Easy with the New My Team Dashboard

AI Email Template Import

Tired of manually rebuilding email templates every time you want to use an external design in HubSpot? Whether you're migrating from platforms like Mailchimp or Klaviyo, or using designs from tools like Figma and Canva, recreating templates in the HubSpot Email Editor takes time. This manual process can delay campaigns and lead to frustrating inconsistencies. The new AI Email Template Import tool allows you to skip the rebuild entirely. Just upload or paste your existing template's HTML, and let AI recreate it within HubSpot in seconds.

How does it work?

  • Navigate to Marketing > Email.
  • Click Create email.
  • Select your email type > Regular or Automated.
  • Under the Create a new design tile, select Upload your HTML file.
    • Note: Email HTML uploaded under All templates, will be created as a new Email in your portal. Email HTML uploaded under Saved templates will be created as a new Saved Template in your account.

  • Click Upload to select a HTML file of an email design on your desktop.
  • Alternatively, click Paste the HTML, to paste in the HTML of your Email Design.
  • Name your Email.
  • Click Generate Design.

  • A preview of your recreated template will appear.
  • Click Generate again to retry the generation or click Create design to navigate into the Email Editor, where you can modify your template further.

Note: To use this generative AI feature in your HubSpot account, you must turn on your AI settings:

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, in the Account management section, navigate to AI.
  • In the Access tab of your AI settings, configure the following:
    • Give users access to generative AI tools and features: click to toggle the switch on to let the users in your account access generative AI features such as generating text and media content using prompts. By default, this setting will be toggled on.

YouTube Publishing and Reporting Now Available for Pro

youtube publishing_hubspotYouTube publishing is now available for Marketing Hub Pro customers through the Social tool! You can now:

  1. Connect your YouTube account directly to HubSpot
  2. Publish YouTube videos (including Shorts!) straight from the social composer
  3. Reply to YouTube comments from the Inbox / Reply tab to have all your social data in one place
  4. Customize metadata — add tags, playlists, and even first comments
  5. Track performance of your YouTube content with built-in reporting in the social tool

From strategy to publishing to performance — HubSpot now helps you manage your YouTube presence all in one place.

  • Expand your video strategy to YouTube without leaving HubSpot

How does it work?

MH Pro Customers can now connect their YouTube accounts through Settings -> Marketing (under Tools) -> Social.

Access these tools under Social in the nav bar.

 

Convert Static List to Active Lists

You can now convert static lists to active lists while keeping the list ID and references intact!

Previously, after creating a static list, if you discovered that you had applied the wrong filter or wanted to update your list with a new filter, you either had to clone the list or start over. These workarounds are not only time-consuming, but also mean the list ID updates, and you lose all of the references where the list was being used.

How does it work?

Now, you can seamlessly change static lists to active lists while retaining the list ID and list references!

1. Navigate to CRM --> Lists, and click into the static list you wish to convert to an active list.

2. Select the 'Actions' menu in the top right of the page, and select "Convert to active"

3. Note that any manually added records may be removed or manually removed records may be added to the list once it's converted to active

4. Click "Convert"

Now the list will update in real time as records meet the filter criteria!

Certification Tracking Made Easy with the New My Team Dashboard

Introducing the redesigned 'My Team' page, a one-stop shop for tracking credentials, monitoring team achievements, and streamlining HubSpot onboarding.
