
It’s a quiet week on the HubSpot release front, possibly a result of their upcoming holiday slowdown from June 30 - July 4th., but there are is one promising update worth noting. While currently only available in private beta, a new reporting feature gives revenue teams a clearer, more accurate way to forecast and track performance by product, without relying on workarounds or third-party tools.

Line Item Revenue Reports
Sales teams can now accurately track and forecast revenue without creating custom objects or using third-party tools. This helps:
- Forecast monthly recurring revenue from both closed and open deals
- Track revenue performance by individual products
- Identify potential revenue gaps before they impact operations
- Make data-driven decisions about resource allocation
How does it work?
To access the new reports, navigate to Reports > Sales Analytics > Forecast & revenue
- Closed Won Recurring Revenue: View monthly recurring revenue from closed deals by product
- Open Recurring Revenue: See potential monthly recurring revenue from in-progress deals by product
- All Closed Won Revenue: Track monthly closed revenue broken down by product
The recurring revenue reports evenly distribute recurring line items across the period between their billing start date and billing end date.
