For the week ending May 31, 2025, HubSpot rolled out several updates that help you work faster and smarter, from AI-powered video chapter editing to deeper integrations with Salesforce and Zapier, plus a new automation action from Breeze Copilot. Let’s take a closer look at these powerful enhancements:
- Video Chapter Editing,
- Salesforce App: Sync New Object Associations for Tickets, Tasks, and Custom Objects,
- Zapier App: Custom Objects for Associations, and
- Breeze 'Summarize Record' Workflow Action.
Video Chapter Editing
You can now manually customize AI-generated video chapters for content uploaded to YouTube or embedded on your websites.
How does it work?
To use this feature, you must be enrolled in the AI-powered video marketing beta with access to Content Hub Professional or Enterprise.
On the optimize tab of a video's details page, you can now:
- Add a chapter: Enter a timestamp to mark when the chapter begins. The chapter will end at the start time of the next sequential chapter.
- Rename a chapter: Update the name of any chapter. This change will be reflected in the video's timeline.
- Delete a chapter: Remove a chapter from your video entirely.
Note: HubSpot currently supports up to 20 chapters per video.
Salesforce App: Sync New Object Associations for Tickets, Tasks, and Custom Objects
The Salesforce app for HubSpot already supports syncing object associations for standard Contacts, Companies and Deals. Today, we're expanding that list to include bidirectional syncing of associations for Tickets, Tasks and custom objects.
Why does it matter?
Now you can see more object associations between Salesforce and HubSpot to enable better reporting, sales motions and marketing campaign execution. Today, the expanded association sync support will provide even more visibility into your data and help you make more informed actions.
How does it work?
The public beta is available under the Product Updates menu from your portal. Once enabled, you will be able to use the supported object types: Tickets, Tasks, and custom objects.

Zapier App: Custom Objects for Associations
Custom objects are now supported within associations for the Zapier app for HubSpot.
Before this update, you could create, update, search, and delete custom object records when setting up triggers or adding actions in Zapier. Likewise, users could leverage associations for standard CRM objects in their Zaps.
How does it work?
Navigate to the HubSpot Marketplace via the marketplace icon in the top right of your HubSpot account to install the Zapier app for HubSpot. Note that users with an existing Zapier app installed to HubSpot may be required to reconnect the app to access custom object automation in your Zaps.
When you set up a trigger or add an action step in Zapier, you will find the option to select custom objects from the drop down list of available options when you create, update, search, or delete an association trigger or event.
Breeze 'Summarize Record' Workflow Action
Breeze Copilot is HubSpot's conversational AI tool that support your sales, marketing, and service goals. But until now, this AI assistance has only been available on demand, as the team does their day to day work. With the introduction of Breeze actions in workflows, AI tasks can now be automated at scale, using the Workflows tool.
For example, when using a workflow to distribute new leads to sales, use the 'Summarize record' action to create a concise and information packed snippet, that can be inserted into a notification to get your reps up to speed quickly.
How does it work?
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automations > Workflows.
- In the left hand action panel, click to expand the AI section.
- Choose the 'Summarize record' action and select which record should be summarized. This can be the enrolled record or a record associated to the enrolled record.
- The action will produce an output of that summary, which can then be used in subsequent workflow actions, for example in a notification action.
Learn more about what data may be included in the summary. Results vary based on what data exists on each record. Summaries cannot be customized in the 'Summarize record' action. To create your own custom summary, try the Ask Breeze action. See the KB, for more information on the 'Summarize record' action.
Note:
- This action has a usage limit of 3,000 executions per month
- Limits are subject to change during the beta period
