We’re a little late with this week’s HubSpot updates thanks to the holiday weekend, but there are still a couple of meaningful changes worth catching up on. This week’s releases focus on making campaign management cleaner and more scalable, while also reducing friction around access to sales tools inside HubSpot.
From reusing assets across multiple campaigns without messy duplicates to expanding Sales Documents access for core users, these updates are all about simplifying operations behind the scenes.
Here are a couple notable updates for the week of May 25, 2026:
- Associate One Asset to Multiple Campaigns, and
- Sales Documents Packaging Simplification.
Associate One Asset to Multiple Campaigns
- Videos
- Case studies
- Blog posts
- SMS messages
Why does it matter?
Previously, assets could only belong to one campaign at a time. If you wanted to reuse a blog post, video, or case study across multiple initiatives, you had to clone the asset—creating duplicate versions, added maintenance, and messy reporting.
Now, one shared asset can contribute attributed revenue and influenced contacts across every campaign it’s associated with.
This update helps teams:
- Eliminate unnecessary asset cloning
- Simplify campaign management and version control
- Improve reporting visibility across shared assets
- Preserve attribution accuracy using existing attribution models like first-touch and last-touch
For marketers running integrated campaigns across multiple audiences, products, or regions, this creates a much cleaner and more scalable workflow.
How does it work?
Associating assets works the same way it always has, but now you can select multiple campaigns instead of just one.
You can associate the asset and campaign together from either tool, and the asset’s performance metrics will appear in every campaign it has been added to.
One important note: the most recently added campaign will be used as the campaign UTM source when publishing content.
Sales Documents Packaging Simplification
Full Sales Document access will be extended to core seats, increasing the limit from 5 to 5,000 for core seat users. The current limit of 5,000 documents per account will be maintained for Starter, Professional, and Enterprise editions.
Customers have reported frustration over needing to purchase a paid seat to access basic features; this change removes those barriers, making essential sales tools more accessible and reducing friction in the user experience.
How does it work?
Access for Core Seats
- Core seat users can access Sales Documents without needing to buy a Sales or Service Hub seat
- Starter, Professional, and Enterprise editions maintain a 5,000 document limit
Navigation and Use
- Users logging into their HubSpot portal with a core seat can use Documents directly from their usual locations.
Restriction for Free Portals
- Portals with $0 HubSpot MRR will lose access to Sales Documents; affected users will be notified.
Need help cleaning up your HubSpot portal?
Small HubSpot updates can make a big difference, but only if your portal is set up to take advantage of them. If your campaigns, assets, sales tools, or reporting have gotten messy over time, a HubSpot Portal Audit can help you spot what is working, what is creating friction, and where your team can simplify operations.
