This feature surfaces relevant, high-impact recommendations that are personalized to your portal, allowing you to automate faster, save time, and get more value out of HubSpot without having to dig through dozens of tools or rules!
How does it work?
Once you're on the Automation Overview page, you'll see a set of personalized automation suggestions based on your portal activity. Simply click on a recommendation, select Create automation, and turn on the workflow!
Landing Pages: Clone With AI
What is it?
When cloning a landing page, you can now choose to generate content for the new page using AI.
Why does it matter?
We know that many marketers leverage our "cloning" functionality when creating content to easily start with a template they want. We want to make it easier to make high quality content by offering a quick starting point with AI.
How does it work?
When clicking 'clone' on a page, either from the landing pages dashboard or from the editor, you will have the option to indicate if you want to clone with AI. If you choose to clone with AI, you will be sent into the AI-powered landing page creation flow where you can provide more details to help improve and tailor the generated content.
Unsubscribe Feedback Survey Available on Preference Pages
What is it?
You can now trigger an unsubscribe survey on the preference page to collect feedback about why a contact is unsubscribing from all emails and view this feedback for more insights about your marketing email strategy. Turn every unsubscribe into a learning opportunity without adding friction to the unsubscribe process.
Why does it matter?
Automatically collect feedback when a contact unsubscribes from all email, giving Marketers actionable insights to reduce churn and improve content relevance.
How does it work?
Within the Subscriptions settings tab, admins can toggle on the unsubscribe survey.
Once this setting is toggled on, anytime a contact unsubscribes from all email communications, they will see a questionnaire on the confirmation page inquiring as to the reason for the unsubscribe. The survey includes 5 preset options:
- I'm no longer interested in your company
- I didn't sign up for your mailing list
- I receive too many emails
- Your emails are not relevant to me
- Other (50-character count open text field)
Accessing Data
There will be several ways to view the unsubscribe survey results (click for video tutorial - available in English only), including --
- Contact Record Page (in the Activity Timeline)
- Visit CRM > Contacts > search for the email of the contact > click on the contact > Activity tab > locate the unsubscribe reason in the activity timeline
- Custom Report Builder
- This option will be available for Professional and Enterprise tier customers only.
- New data may take 10-15 minutes to appear in reports. If a contact submits an unsubscribe survey, it could take 10-15 minutes for their response to appear in the report.
- To build this report:
- Go to Reporting > Reports > Create Report > Custom Report Builder > Choose my own data sources
- Keep "Contacts" selected and also select "Marketing email activities" > Next
- Browse: Marketing email activities > Gave reason for unsubscribe
- Select "Gave reasons for unsubscribe"
- Drag Default Measures > "count of gave reasons for unsubscribe" on the Y axis

- To export your report, click on the "Export" button in the upper right corner.

Standard and Advanced Quote Approvals for CPQ
Power your quote workflows with the flexibility of standard or advanced quote approvals.
Standard Approvals:
You can easily configure quote approvals to match your team's workflow—the system supports both single and multiple approvers.
- Single approver: A quote can be approved by any one person in the approver group.
- All approvers: A quote must be approved by every person in the approver group before it can proceed.
This flexibility enables you to choose whether all assigned approvers must approve a quote, or if approval from just one person is enough.
Advanced Approvals:
Use workflows to automatically trigger quote approvals based on specific criteria, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and control without slowing down your sales process.
Workflows can be built using properties from the quote itself, as well as associated objects like line items and deals. This gives you the flexibility to define exactly when an approval is needed.
We’ve recently introduced sequential approvals, so you can set the exact order customers need to approve a quote, for example, first your manager, then the legal team.
Common use cases include:
- Approving quotes with discounts above a set percentage
- Requiring review for quotes over a certain total amount
- Flagging specific SKUs that exceed discount or price limits
- Routing quotes from new sales reps for extra oversight
- Triggering approvals when billing frequency or net terms are modified
- Approve quotes based off ordering
With sequential and property-based approvals, you can ensure managers only review quotes that meet specific criteria, streamlining the process, reducing noise, and supporting stronger business controls without adding friction.
Why does it matter?
Quote approvals help you stay in control as your quoting process grows.
With standard approvals, every quote goes through an approval step—perfect for teams that want a simple, consistent review process with an easy set up.
When you need more flexibility, advanced approvals let you set rules based on criteria like discount amount or deal size, so only specific quotes with high discounts require approval. This reduces errors, helps enforce policies, and saves time by focusing reviews where they matter most.
How does it work?
Set Up
Super admins can enable quote approvals from the quote settings page.
- Go to Commerce > Quotes > Settings
- Toggle on Enable quote approvals
Getting set up as an approver:
- Go to Users & Teams
- Click Edit Permissions for the user
- Under Deals, toggle on Quote Approver
Approvers can:
- Review the quote in the editor
- Use the collaboration panel to approve or request changes
- Add optional comments during the approval process.
Standard Approvals
To get started, navigate to:
Quotes → Settings → Set Quote Approvers
From there, you can choose whether each quote requires approval from just one approver or all designated approvers. You'll also be able to specify exactly who should be responsible for approving quotes.
Once set up, every quote will automatically be routed for approval before it's sent to the customer. Approvers will receive notifications through HubSpot, either via the Notifications Settings under approvals or directly from the Quote Index page.
Advanced Approvals
Go to Quote --> Settings --> Set up Approvals
Key Notes:
*If you turn advanced quote approvals for the first time, we add in the trigger criteria, add approval step, and start approval flow automatically*
*A quote approval workflow is pre-created for you in Workflows. You must use this existing workflow for quote approvals to work*
Here’s an example of a common use case of quotes requiring approval when it exceeds a certain amount (in this case $10k).
- Trigger the Workflow
Start by setting up a workflow that triggers automatically when a quote’s status changes to “Pending Approval.”
Navigate to: Data Changes → Property Value Change → Quote → Quote Approval Status
- Set Conditional Logic with Branches
Add a branch to define the conditions under which a quote needs approval.
Click Add Branch → Quote Amount (You can build conditions using any quote property or properties from objects associated with the quote, such as line items or deals). From here, you can specify your criteria (e.g., “greater than,” “less than,” etc.)
- Add an Approval Step
Click on CRM → Add Approval Step
Here, you can include a free-text message to the approver explaining the context of the approval
Specify which user(s) are responsible for approving the quote. This is also where you can set the order in which customers are required to approve the quote.
- Start the Approval Flow
Click on CRM → Start Approval Flow
Choose whether all approvers must approve the quote, or if any one approver is sufficient
- Connect the Branch to the Approval Flow
Use the “Go to” action to connect your branch to the Start Approval Flow step.
This ensures the approval process is triggered when the specified conditions are met.
Requestors Perspective:
- Requestors will be shown which rules apply to their quote
- If the quote is updated and no longer triggers a rule, the side panel will indicate that no approval is required
Approvers Perspective:
- They can receive notifications via the notification bell icon or email (this can be customized in notifications)
- Each goes directly to the quote where they can approver or request changes
