At Orange Marketing, our team keeps a close eye on the latest HubSpot product updates every week—and this week, we sifted through a record-breaking seven pages of updates. The surge comes following HubSpot's just-wrapped Spring Spotlight, a bi-annual product showcase where they roll out big enhancements, fresh features, and new tools to help sales and marketing teams work smarter. It’s an exciting time to be in the HubSpot ecosystem.
With so many announcements landing at once, there’s more than we can possibly cover in a single post, but we’re highlighting the updates we think are the most impactful right now. That said, we highly recommend exploring the full list of updates for yourself. You can find them by navigating to Product Updates in your HubSpot portal (click your profile icon in the top right, then go to “Product Updates” under the “What's New” section). There you’ll see what’s live, what’s in Beta, and what’s coming soon.
Speaking of Betas: HubSpot has opened many features in Beta for early access. As tempting as it might be to enroll in all of them (hello, shiny new tools), we suggest being selective. Choose the ones that align with your current business needs or strategic goals so you’re not overwhelmed.
With that in mind, here’s a breakdown of what we think are the most exciting and useful HubSpot updates for the week ending April 11, 2025:
Marketers can now host HubSpot content (blog, landing pages, site pages, case studies, and more) on a subfolder (e.g., website.com/subfolder), using the WordPress plugin. Before this update, users would have to host content on a subdomain (e.g., subdomain.website.com) if their website was hosted on a CMS other than HubSpot's.
As a marketer, it's best to host all content on your main root domain, to benefit from existing SEO performance and backlinks. New subdomains take months to rank.

Admins can turn on HubSpot Meeting Notetaker so sales conversations are automatically recorded, transcribed, and stored in HubSpot. This frees your team to focus fully on customers instead of note-taking. The tool seamlessly joins your Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams meetings with external contacts.
Sales reps can engage completely in customer conversations rather than dividing attention with manual note-taking. Notes are automatically logged in HubSpot immediately after each call, providing valuable context for follow-ups and coaching opportunities.
To turn on HubSpot Meeting Notetaker for your account:
Once activated, Meeting Notetaker automatically joins newly scheduled meetings with external contacts for all sales reps with Sales Hub Professional or Enterprise seats who have connected calendars in HubSpot.
Your team gets immediate access to recordings, transcripts, detailed summaries, and action items right after meetings end—without needing to host the meeting or install additional integrations.
For reps who prefer not to record meetings, they can opt out by navigating to Settings > General > Calendar and toggling Meeting Notetaker off.
HubSpot Meeting Notetaker can join any meeting that has at least one external contact associated to the meeting and has a meeting location set as either a Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams link. If joining meetings in Zoom, the host of the meeting needs to ensure the meeting is able to be recorded and joined by the notetaker by following these steps in your Zoom settings (password: Meetings_222885).
Users can add a Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams link to their meeting directly through their external calendar, a HubSpot video conference location when booking a meeting through the CRM, or a HubSpot scheduling page.

For the best experience with HubSpot Meeting Notetaker, make sure you are also enrolled in another beta: Prepare, review, and follow up on meetings with AI Meeting Assistant which makes following up on meetings a breeze.
While still in Beta, HubSpot is developing AI-powered data model recommendations to simplify HubSpot setup and deepen usage. They will utilize information they have about your business to generate a tailored set of easily applied configurations.
Manually configuring HubSpot can be time-consuming and overwhelming, especially for new admins. AI-powered templates will allow us to meet the needs of HubSpot's broad customer base and build upon the industry-specific templates released last year. The personalized content will allow you to get your HubSpot account up and running quickly and efficiently.
Watch this short video to see it in action.
Navigate to Data Management > Data Model and click on Define data model with templates in the upper right-hand corner. Select "Let Breeze get you started", optionally provide additional context, click Generate and let the magic happen. Our AI will propose custom properties, enabled objects, custom association labels, and pipelines with custom stages for you to review. You will be able to deselect recommendations that are not relevant, edit property names, and apply to your HubSpot account with a single click.
