This week, HubSpot is focused on helping you take faster action with cleaner, smarter data. Whether you’re scanning your CRM for sensitive information, turning saved views into reusable segments, or creating targeted lists of leads, these updates are all about empowering your team to work more securely, efficiently, and strategically.
Here are our top picks for the week of November 17, 2025:
The information present across your CRM Activities (notes, calls, tasks, emails, meetings) can contain a wide range of data, from notes logged by your team members to emails received from customers. For those who may be handling sensitive data (financial data, health information, etc), you can now scan your account for the identification of Sensitive Data.
If you have activated Sensitive Data already, you can additionally choose to redact that information to permanently remove that data from your environment.
If you have not activated Sensitive Data and your scan yields results indicating you are storing sensitive data, it may be beneficial to activate Sensitive Data for additional layers of protection.
This feature helps organizations maintain data hygiene and reduce compliance risk by providing clarity around the data being stored across unstructured CRM Activities
Admins can initiate a scan of the last 60 days of their account by navigating to Settings -> Security -> Sensitive Data
You can now turn any saved view into a segment directly from the table view, no rebuilding required.
The new “Save as segment” action in the Filters menu lets you instantly apply the filters from any view to create a segment. It’s a faster, more seamless way to go from viewing data to taking action — without losing the filter logic you’ve already built.
Until now, building segments often meant re-creating the same filters you’d already perfected in a view. That extra step was time-consuming and broke the flow between exploration and action.
With this update, you can move directly from identifying an audience to engaging it, whether that means sending a campaign, enrolling contacts in a workflow, or analyzing a defined segment.
By adding contextual error handling, you’ll also see clear messages when any filter can’t be converted, while all other supported filters carry over automatically. The result is a faster, smoother path from insight to impact.
To create a list from a view:
Note: If a filter isn’t supported, you’ll see a contextual error message, unsupported filters will be flagged, and all others will still be added to your segment.

After you save your segment of leads, you can:
